We had to do the back nine at this course because their regular course was flooded. Pleasantly surprised was in a better shape than their regular course and a fun layout. It’s just short is my only grip, but it is a learner course.

This place has seen better days. We had some rain yesterday but not crazy and they closed the back nine we had to do the back nine off the learner course which is a short nine hole course but it’s in better shape than their regular course. They had an outing that they didn’t tell us about so when we got to the third hole, there was four foursomes on the tee box, pace got better, but not good. I’m assuming because people just started leaving, will only go here on hot deals

Great public course in New Jersey, fairly challenging with lots of hills, hence the name. Conditions were average. Good food and i even got a Jameson whiskey shot with fruit as a birthday treat with lunch. The carts as far as i remember were pretty good too, no issues on the course both times i played. Note that it's a long walk from the bus stop with a bridge crossing over the highway. Should probably take an Uber from Newark Penn or so if coming by train.

Love this course just hard to get a tee time during the season even if your a county card holder

Nice course, could use some better drainage in the back nine. Definitely needs rangers out there for pace of play.

Nice course with a variety of long and short holes

For 70 dollars (and if you cab even get a tee time) this id about as good as you can get. Not a whole lot of undulation in the greens as the real test for this course is hitting greens in reg. Pro shop, starter, and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful (surprisingly hard to find) and pace of play was excellent. Id say for how hard it was to get a reservation i was expecting a bit more but overall this is a pretty difficult course in great shape with a great price.
