Leaves were everywhere!

Incredible course. Originally the second 18 of the Essex County Country Club, it has an elevated design and feel compared to most municipal courses. It’ll challenge even low handicappers. I keep coming back to this course over and over again and every time I enjoy it more and more. They recently renovated it, and it has become one of the jewels of New Jersey courses. Conditions are excellent, and the facilities are clean/modern. Only complaint is that a few of the greens are a bit unfair.

Aeration of greens happened a couple days before so it was a bumpy ride but next week it will be amazing

Great course in excellent condition. Greens are deceptively slow, but in amazing shape. Elevation changes are a big challenge. Large practice green and a snack bar/grill inside. Ice cold water in the coolers on the course, but there are only two.
