What does "no carts after 5pm" mean? I can't be using one after 5pm? Or I can't start a round after 5pm with a cart? My tee time was 2:45. I started at 2:50, behind a foursome of slow and very loud college boys. After finishing the front 9(around 5pm), right behind the foursome, I stopped at the clubhouse for a beer and was greeted by a grumpy old guy who seemed to work for the course. He was not happy with how long the front 9 took us, even though we were playing faster than the foursome ahead of us, and waiting after each shot we took before we could safely hit again. He was also apparently not happy with us still having a cart and mumbled something about "no carts after 5pm", but didn't offer any other explanation. It was just not a fun exchange. Put a damper on the back 9, still playing behind the same loud, slow college foursome, which somewhere around the 14th hole turned into a 6-some(against posted course rules). I'm not sure if I will play there again.
