By far the nicest public course in the area. Bar none. The course is always in pristine condition and allows for a fun and challenging round of golf. I have golfed all over the place from the east coast all the way to Hawaii and Twain is undoubtedly the best value for your money.

Sadly lowering my rating as of the 2025 season. They have ongoing construction for months with closed or altered holes and had no lowering of the yearly membership cost. Worse, they now dont allow bookings of 2 people, so if i wanted to play with a friend I'd have to pay for a 3rd tee time. I'm looking into membership at other courses now even though Twain is my favorite area course

Member review: Love this course. It's a difficult and rewarding Ross gem. Greens are fast & heavily reward good approach play, with severe slopes and multi-tier greens. Par 5s are mostly downhill and scoreable, while the par 3s are all uphill and very challenging. Traffic is heavy as a public course but pace of play is reasonable. My only negatives are the range is very short & irons only, and quite a few weekends see the course closed for events. Amazing value, fantastic course, great staff
