Wow, this course was amazing and was highly recommended by the Hilton hotel staff. If you are in Statesville, NC or near it this course is a must play. Course was in immaculate shape. Big houses on course and alot of water holes.

Some really fun elevated tea boxes and creatively layed out holes. Some short par 4’s and longish par 3’s. Mostly great condition. Erratic speed with the greens.

Rock barn sets the standard for public golf courses. The place is absolutely gorgeous. From the drive up to the clubhouse, to the facilities, to the complimentary range balls and the condition/layout of the course. Even the restaurant attached to the club house is top notch. The staff is fantastic and won’t let you lift a finger if you don’t want to. There’s not a better public course to play within 50-75 miles of rock barn. Do yourself a favor and make this a regular visit for your golf outings. You won’t be disappointed.
