I grew up playing on this course many years ago and I decided to begin playing golf again so I chose this course for my first round. The fairways and greens are in excellent shape. But don’t let the lack of distance fool you. There are plenty of out of bounds around the course that can wreck a round. The greens are quite small so accuracy along with chipping and putting are necessary. If you haven’t played here before you’ll soon find there are very few straight putts so be prepared to allow for a few tricky, and sometimes fast downhill, side hill putts that can get away from you. Bunkers are about as I recall them, filled with heavy, damp sand that can make splashing out all but impossible. I would suggest avoiding landing in them if possible. All in it’s a great little course that is well maintained and a great test of your short game.
