They are trying I suppose. The native grass has finally filled in all of the bare spots on the fairways. If they keep working at it, still a year away from no longer being the worst shape course in the area. Tee boxes are awful. Fairways are half Bermuda and half wild local grasses. Greens are hard as a rock because they don't seem to water them in the morning. But well designed and trending in the right direction. If there were other courses within 20 mins they would have stepped up long ago

Solid place for the price. Guys in proshop were very nice. Greens had had sand thrown down when we played.

Honestly, The Pines could charge more based solely on the service. The guys that worked there were great. The course was in good condition. The greens were soft and really enjoyable to putt on.
But the service was outstanding. I came with my wife, 6yo and 9yo who all play but can't hit over 100yrds. We are military who are transitioning. We flew to the area with my bag holding my wife and kids clubs. They lent us a bag to split the clubs. Smiles across the boards!

Course is slowly taking shape. The elevated greens make it challenging. Course is fun to play, and affordable. Cart paths are nicely cemented. Nice snack bar.
