It’s been about a year and a half since I last played here, as of January 16, 2026. In that time, they’ve redone the greens, and they are outstanding. Easily the best they’ve been in years. I grew up playing Crowders. Over time, in my opinion, it had slipped a bit in certain areas. Today completely changed my perspective. You can see the work that’s been put in, and it shows. The improvements alone make me want to come back, and I plan to make this part of my weekly rotation going forward.

Terrible golf course, grass needs to be cut. Tee boxes are all beat up and the fairways, recommend to put sand in every cart for people to help clean up the place. The grandpa at the desk had attitude and couldn’t speak a clear sentence. Overall shit show, maybe I came on a wrong day but I won’t be returning.

Really nice course. Tee boxes could use some work but didn’t take away from the round. Greens were in amazing shape. I was told they closed for a few months earlier in the summer to completely redo the greens. Speed on greens were great, not too fast or slow. Fairly tight greens made for challenging approach shots. Nice layout with good slope to challenge you. White tees were up quite a bit on some holes so course management came into play some.

The rough is ridiculous! Cut the rough 1/2 inch and Crowder would be a 5 star course!!!

Rough play. Greens severely need work. Mainly dirt. Bunkers are just dirt, no sand. This course has so much potential but falls flat because of condition.

Horrible conditions. Diseased greens with craters, no grass, and huge crevices, unkept course all around. $35 for a round should be considered robbery. Go dig some holes in a cow pasture and you’d have the same.

Winter 2025 - Greens unplayable on most holes. Weeds overtaking a lot of the tees boxes. Bunkers just hard mud. It’s cheap and I get that winter is hard to keep greens playable but dang…it was really bad today. Chipped on the green a lot of holes because it was completely un-puttable.
