The course is fun. Good views. It needs work. The cart paths are horrible. The rough and bunkers are in terrible shape. The greens were nice. This course has a TON of potential, but money needs to be spent to make it a lot better.

Greens are beautiful but rolling slow. Fairways are nice, tee boxes are good. The rough by the paths tends to get a bit beat up, but the course is visually impressive with stunning views… this all assumes that you are a fan of alligators.

10/10 value with the “Players” membership - 40$/month then 11-17$ to play. Course is in OK condition, tee boxes are really bad on some holes, greens are for the most part good. Layout is really fun and makes you think a bit. Lots and lots of old locals, so can be very slow when course is busy. Driving range hitting area is Ok, but range is dead and only sand so can’t see where the ball lands. Putting area is pretty good. Club house guys decent, and cart guys expect a tip which is so stupid.

They have to do a better job of managing the pace of play. 7 hours to play yesterday. Either limit the number of players or have rangers actually monitor the pace of play. Groups playing mini tournaments need to be provided strict instructions when the course is full. Golfers need to know their hitting distances and not wait for someone 200 yards in front of you when you know you can only hit 100 yards. Yesterday was painful. Unfortunately this occurs at Oyster Bay more than any other course in the area. I spent more time standing than playing.

Love this course. Fairways usually in good shape. Need to get the greens better. They are way to fast. Still a nice challenging course. Like the scenery and the wildlife here. Carts seem newer. Staff is friendly.
