This course was in baddddd shape. There were numerous times when my ball should’ve been in the fairway but was in a totally bare spot, or mud, or some other maintenance issue. Often it was better to be in the rough. I had a couple putts from the fringe where there were either huge tufts in the fringe or totally bare spots. To top it off, on two holes, there were guys out mowing in between shots...so they are out there and making noise. Further, hole 10 is just ridiculously hard for this course and doesn’t fit the rest of the course at all. Also, there’s no shade or trees by just about any of the tee boxes. It was ok for today when it was mid-60s but it’d be brutal during a summer weekend. I also didn’t see a ranger out and the starters didn’t seem to have any rhyme or reason to when they sent people (the group behind me also had a tee time 4 minutes after mine which made no sense). Any way, overall even for the good rate I got, I won’t be back.
