Great pace given a late afternoon holiday weekend round. Greens were in ROUGH shape, probably the worst I’ve seen as far as bumps and cracks. But rolled decent enough. The rough needed watering which thinned it out and eased playing difficulty.

On 8/26/24 the greens were in pretty bad shape. 17 & 18 were terrible with a “fungus rot”

Heard so many people talk positively about this course. Thought maybe it would be a great deal. Tips no more than 6400. Apparently I loved the picked up greens with big dirt patches. Made every putt within 10 feet! Spend money at Metroparks instead

Greens are burned out or have a fungus, geese digging holes on greens, tee boxes are hard as concrete, almost have to pound tee into the ground. This could be a very nice course with a little work(they have trimmed the lower branches on a ton of trees this year, so they are doing something)

This course could be nice, but it’s not being maintained very well. The fairways are in decent condition but many of the greens have large dead areas. And the tee boxes are just terrible. Not maintained at all and hard as a rock. They were also trimming trees when we were there, which is fine. But there are branches layering around everywhere, some of which have clearly been there for days or weeks.

Great course but tee times are spaced way too close to each other. Every group was playing at a great pace but most of the round was 3 groups backed up on a tee box.

Greens had spots everywhere and quite a few big divots filled in with sand. Made putting a challenge if your ball landed in the wrong spot.

Nice course but they stack you up. I’ve never played here and not had less than two groups stacked on the tee box. They don’t put you off on the course you book because they get so stacked up and they act like it’s your fault. They let kids fish the lakes in dangerous spots directly ahead of the tee boxes on the Lakes course. Incredibly frustrating, and worse, they’re rude about it. Course is always in great shape, which is too bad because I don’t intend to ever go back.
