Grass was too long in just about every area on the course. Had trouble finding balls in the middle of the fairway… greens were actually pretty decent. The big upside was we found a ton of balls, half were just sitting on the tee box. Found about 5 Pro V1’s and lost about the same amount of “crappy” balls. I will likely give this course another try, but hopefully the course will not be as wet and grass will be shorter all over.

This course is PHENOMENAL compared to the old-standing reputation of "Hiawatha." The new owners have done an INCREDIBLE job the last 3 years or so improving the fairways, the greens, the water hazards and out of bounds areas. They have brand new golf carts, a totally renovated Clubhouse, and extremely professional staff. This is Hands-Down my favorite course to play in the Mount Vernon area and I can do so for under $25. Biggest bang for your buck is at Vernon View!
