Idk what it is but balls just get lost in the rough like nowhere else I’ve played (and it’s been well over 30+ times since 2023)…not a round goes by I don’t lose a ball in there. Tight fairways, and firm greens: that’s the Safari calling card. Great value, but be warned pace of play is very slow come afternoon.

Recent aeration on greens meant a fantastic price. Only complaint is how close some of the tee boxes are to the green of adjacent holes. Probably not the safest course
