This course has one of the best layouts I’ve seen in Ohio, with water on a majority of holes, a mix of long holes with short, left and right doglegs. Great mix of uphill and downhill shots. Which is why it’s a shame the course is not in good condition. I want to give them leeway because of CoVid, but fairways were the best thing about this course. Rough was uneven; tee boxes were uneven, with some bald spots. Greens had bald spots along with hundreds of ball marks not fixed. Bunkers either were completely neglected, filled with water or tall grass, or filled with quite literally no sand. Great course to go have fun with some buddies, but if you like to score well and play and nicely kept course, I don’t think this is it. Would be one of the best courses in Ohio if it were better maintained!
