It's been a while since I played Wedgewood. U struggle to think of a time when it's NOT a swamp,. It I know I did because I thought "this is a pretty nice track". The entire front 9 is plagued with large puddles. It looks like the fairways haven't been mowed in weeks. They've developed DEET resistant bugs, it seems, as our spray did little to stem the clouds of flying vermin all over the course. The puddles are also full of mosquito larvae. Lord help us when they hatch.
It's still a nicely laid out track but distinct golf seems to do nothing to help their courses. Both here and another course of theirs, miles away, seem to be perpetually flooded and full of rough in the fairway. Green complexes are nice and they told well, but there's little sand in the bunkers and getting from tee to green is like hitting in the back yard.
Not worth $54 each. Won't be back.
