Course conditions for $60 were awful, greens were the only thing good. tee boxes were basically dirt, fairways were shot out and also dirt. Pace of play was good but they sent out 3 two-somes in a row behind our 4-some so we felt pressured and let them 3 pass on 3 separate occasions.

Always a fun course

Tee boxes need to be cut down. It was like hitting in the rough off a tee trouble hitting woods iron and hybrids off boxes. Fairways could be better managed. Is a very nice course don't get me wrong just needs some love. I played on a Sunday maybe the gronds guys were off the weekend. It was my first time there. Green speed is about medium not slow not fast I was happy with them. And greens looked and felt well maintained and soft. Good ball divots and not plugged in the green.

We drove 7+ hours to play with friends, only to be denied a third cart for my girlfriend (a spectator), despite offering to pay. Staff said it was “policy,” yet allowed the group ahead of us (6 people, 3 carts). When we showed proof, they deflected blame. Poor communication, zero empathy, and blatant inconsistency. If you value fairness and respect, avoid Blackwood. The only thing consistent was the littered booze bottles.
