Really interesting layout. Requires that you think through your shot choice. Although not a precision course some mis-hits are punishing. The weather has cooked a small part of two or three greens, but the sticks are away from that area and greens in general are fair, quick but not fast, and well maintained. The water features are at the moment disabled, so there’s some conservation going on and a couple are being converted to natural hazards. The only hole that’s a bit unfair is the par 3 11th. It’s a two-club extra uphill mostly blind shot. Local knowledge is a must for this hole, and you better be straight! First time players should take advantage of a GPS app for sure everywhere on the course as this is a nice challenge and a great value. Food/beverage stop that is between multiple holes is a MAJOR plus. And the clubhouse restaurant has a great menu also reasonably priced. About 10 minutes from the highway. Also has a practice section with sand trap and huge practice green.
