Nice scenery throughout, but ong the slope on course is misrated. Mostly windy par 4s, narrow tee shots, hilly and narrow fairways. Great for $40 but way harder than the rating implies, at least for me. Most fairways in rough shape tbh.

Tough conditions with recent weather, course held up well with very fast greens. Fairways and greens were rough in some spots.

Crossgates is a very interesting course with elevation changes, dog legs, but overall the course is very nice!

Precise shots and knowing your distance to trust your club is key on this course. Thought the conditions were great for the most part and I love how they developed this course in integrating elevation changes to work your shot. The only negatives I would say is how short the greens were cut that a tap could roll through break and some how leave you on the other side of the fringe, in note of that grass is fermenting this time of season so that could have been a factor too.
