We really enjoy golfing at Norvelt, the owner Luke is friendly and helpful. The course is clean and well maintained. The 19th hole restaurant and bar never disappoints! Small pro-shop has the essentials and some nice clothing.
Fun municipal course. Nicest staff I have experienced.

I was a beautiful course! I throughly enjoy my experience.
I almost don’t want to write a review because I think this is a hidden gem (at least for someone who lives in Pittsburgh). The conditions were some of the best in the area. The greens are TOUGH. Fast, sloping, really challenging pin placement. One of the few public courses in the area with sand that is worth playing out of. Fairly open and not crowded. Front nine was a great layout. Back nine was very difficult with a lot of turns, heavy slopes, dry conditions didn’t help with that. Will return.
Course is frequented by 7+ person groups after 5:30PM. Pace of play is brutal
