One of the best muni’s you play. Such a fun & hard course.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the overall facility. The renovated greens are tough but fun to play, very unlike Many muni courses I have played before. Would recommend.

The Muni, since it’s reconstruction, is a challenging course that offers a better than ever value to the Charleston community. Since it’s widely used by the public, maintenance is an ever going issue but the views make up for its downfalls.
Greens just been redesigned… fun course, tough greens, back 9 completely different from front 9
Since the remodel the greens are very difficult. This has led to very slow play times. The staff are extremely friendly and the whole place has a family feel.
Playing like a links course after the remodel. Greens are brutally quick. Many good shots from far wind up running off the green, so unless you can put some serious backspin on your wedges, I recommend laying up or landing them short to take some pace off the ball before it gets to the green. Makes for a good challenge and very unique course.
Pace is so-so. I average 4.5 hour rounds here but have had a couple go over 6. Don’t expect to tee up at 2pm and finish in time for dinner.
