They charge $10 for a nonplaying rider even though there was no other single there to play with so she wasn't taking up a place on cart that someone else could have

Paris Landing is one of the prettiest state park golf courses in TN. The TN River/Lake Barkley runs along the outskirts of the course and really adds to the aesthetics of the round. Course conditions are usually very respectable to flawless depending on time of year. Summer can be hard on the greens and the spring rainy season can really muck up the course on certain holes. There are areas where too much shade precludes dense grass growth which really hurts the health of a few tee boxes and parts of fairways. Sand traps are a little rocky. If you like a course that allows you to hit driver on most par 4’s and all the par 5’s then you’ll like this course. Greens are challenging but fair and seem to roll true. As far as TN state park courses go(there are 9) Paris Landing is definitely in the top 4.

The greens were recently sanded so they were playing like glass even with all of the rain there has been recently. Photos taken on green #2, teebox at #4, & green on #12
