It is beginning of June 2023 and the greens are in horrible condition, they seem to be like this every year in the summer. For the amount of money you pay for the round these greens should be respectable if not flawless. There are 2 other state park course within an hour and a half drive that are in much better condition. Fall Creek Falls is immaculate and Paris Landing is in better shape, prettier and slightly cheaper than this course. This course is challenging because it is very tight and demands arrow straight tee shots. If you are a relatively long hitter you honestly only have to pull your driver maybe 4-5 times in 18 holes. There are WAY too many rocks on this course. On about half the holes if you miss the fairway it feels like you are in a rock quarry. Honestly, the only reason I play this course is because my daughters have district and regional tournaments here. Otherwise, I would probably never play it. As far as TN state park courses go this is the worst of all of them.
