Very friendly staff, but the absolute WORST greens and tee boxes I’ve ever seen. Once you get on the greens you might as well just putt and pray because there’s no use in trying to read them. See pictures to see what I mean!

Lovely course nice scenery, love the layout and even driving the cart path is worth the pay. Can work on greens but overall love this course will definitely be back for more!

I’ve played in July before and it was well maintained. But wait until summer, the fairways look like my backyard. Some challenging tee shots, and decent greens. Pace of play was very slow, but great scenery on a pretty day. Not the worst public course out there, but most Metros are better.

There is some left to be desired in the quality of greens and definition of fairways, but a lot of value to be had in this unsuspecting course in Greenbrier. At very least you and your party will get to enjoy some incredible views and great prices in the shop. Slowly becoming one of my favorites.

Everything that could be wrong was wrong. Uneven tee boxes, missing tee markers, tree canopies overgrowing the teeing areas, several different grasses in the fairways, mud pits in dry times, bunkers were just grass pits, punched greens, sandy greens, leaves piled up everywhere. The land is beautiful and the course is meant to be challenging with the topography, but it was so hard to get a good lie and nearly impossible if you weren't in the fairway. The carts are in rough shape so try yours 1st

This course has a lot of potential. There are a lot of cool par 3s from high up and some other cool parts of the course, but the condition of the course is atrocious. I played in late Feb, but there was only 1 green that didn't have a giant cutout filled with sand, plus every single cart was ripped pretty bad. Reviews aren't lying saying there are some steep hills going up and down, but imo not that bad. Would be a fun course if they could get it in better condition.

The price for this beautiful landscape is very good, and the potential for this course is absolutely insane but is very poorly kept. which is a shame.😢

Pace of play was fast because nobody was out there. Didn’t see a single worker besides the pro shop attendant. Whole course is in crap condition. Greens haven’t been rolled or mowed. Fairways are actually first cut, rough is just overgrown weeds, tee boxes are taller than the rough. Carts are the same carts I rode on when this course was in great condition 10 years ago. Very disappointing to see my home course look this way.
