Cedar Hills is hit and miss. Sometimes it’s in great condition, but the greens are often in bad shape.
An awkward layout and a lot of area for trouble make it a more challenging course than it needs to be. It’s got some great views on the mountain holes, but they are the least enjoyable holes on the entire course. Hitting a great drive will still leave you with an uphill lie and you’ll find yourself hitting your approach with the ball above your feet. It makes these holes unenjoyable and grueling.
Overall, it’s a decent course but it is more of a last resort if there are no tee times at nearby courses.
