Really cool terrain but the course was horribly maintained.

The course has tremendous potential and great views. They clearly cannot adequately maintain the bunkers so they need to reduce the number of bunkers substantially or else actually maintain the bunkers they have.

Not sure if I had my expectations set too high, with the course being in Draper and on the higher end of green fees in the valley, but it was pretty underwhelming. The scenic views are great, the layout if fun, but the conditions were just, meh. Fairways were in rough shape for the most part; either not cut recently, cut with grass clippings left behind or spotted with dead, patchy areas. Tee boxes were in decent shape, except for one that was basically like hitting out of the rough. Greens were overall in good shape and played at a good speed. Fun course, just underwhelming for the price/location.
