I haven’t played Chesapeake in over a year because I was of the opinion that the course wasn’t taken care of. A friend invited me to play it today and it seems they are working to make the course conditions better. The majority of the greens were good ( there were 2 that bad ) as were the fairways and tee boxes. I’m glad I tried it again. I will play it again.

First time playing, very hesitant to go here from the reviews, but pretty solid course for the price. Obviously the greens aren’t perfect, but I really only had two or three holes where the choppy part of the greens effected my shot, but at the same time I go for lag put so not too terrible to not come back yknow.. pros: different approaches on the T box, value play, more par 3s cons: greens, slow play (expected for value play), carts are touchier than most in the area and a run down Will b back

Pretty solid course all around. Pro shop was very friendly. Only gripe would be the pace of play but most likely the fault of the group in front of us.

Don’t waste your money here. Plenty of other courses in the area that charge you less and are in 100x better condition. Impossible to put because the greens are such bad shape. Majority of the fairways look like they haven’t been mowed in a week. Just feels like nobody cares here. Pace of play got 5 stars because there were so few people playing. Cart seat also had two huge holes in it.

Greens are speckled with craters. And played very slow. It is winter so I’m offering a little forgiveness😄 but I won’t be playing the course again for a while. It’s a $23 course at the end of the day
