Paying extra for a single size bucket of range balls was a bummer, but the more affordable reservation cost I guess offsets it a bit. The course is in good condition (early June 2025), greens were healthy, played very soft and slow in the morning but firmed up and got fast by the late morning. Plenty of water stations, which was a plus. We came at a busy time so we felt rushed and had to play faster than we would have liked but that’s not unusual or specific to this course.

Played Hunting hawk before my cousins wedding. Only complaint was the Tee boxes, they were a little beat up but not a huge deal, I’m assuming it’s just from play. The course is tough! Trouble left and right on every hole. All the blind landing zones on drives killed my score but I really enjoyed it, even though it was my worst round of the year haha I would play here again. I really want to, next time I’m in Richmond VA, I’m going back to get revenge

Nice course with good people working there. Our group will make this a regular part of our outings.
