Great par 3 course. Please fix your ball marks!

Belmont charged me for my 4 year old son who will chip and putt about half the holes. This is the only course I've ever been to that does this, but they claim they are focusing on "getting youth into the game.". The course itself is okay, but lacking in maintenance. Some of the hills around the greens are bare sand and the bunkers had underlayment showing through.

@belmont1917 (Instagram) is a fun little parkland gem. Twelve holes, home to First Tee RVA. Fast, complex greens in good shape, (although players could do a better job repairing ball marks!) and well bunkered. Greens fees were $28 walking. Very walkable course. Also has a 6 hole par 3 course we didn’t play.
