Course was in great shape. Greens were soft and in excellent shape.

I played around golf at Mattaponi today and shot 10 over par even though they just aerated the greens, the course is fantastic, great course🏌🏻‍♂️🏌🏻‍♂️

Definitely a must play if you make it to the area. Course is challenging and beautiful. I didn’t give it a 5 star because there was no cart person while we were playing. Could have definitely used one. Although there are water stations. The greens rolled well but there were some dead spots on them; however, the hole placement kept that out of play mostly. Other than that, the course is kept WELL. I would definitely play it again. Probably more of a 4.6 vs just a 4. Staff was friendly.

80$ value assessment. For the wear and tear and greens having major dead spots.

Great golf course with a lot of elevation changes. Make sure your putting is on point. A large portion of the greens are sloped/shelved. Easily 3-4 putt greens here.
