Greens need work

Greens really need work

Goat pasture greens and tee boxes on many holes.

A few hard tee boxes, great fairways, drenched greens. Some greens were one drop of water away from being a mud puddle and yet the grounds team were still watering them. All in all fair price for a decent course.

The tee box and the greens are in very bad shape. It’s a good place if you want to work on your rough game the entire 18 holes!

Slowest pace of play in the Hampton Roads area. In my 10 years of playing in the 757, this course takes the cake for the worst pace of play. Greens were deceivingly fast, a day after some rain. The fairways retained moisture and bugs were plenty. Not a terribly difficult track with a friendly staff. I’d probably avoid playing here again.
