A pretty fun course that's rather forgiving, at a good price and with decent practice areas. Chipping and putting areas are pretty good, although the driving range can be a bit iffy. Pace of play is often on the slow side with the amount of beginners and just people on the course. Expect 9 holes to take about 2 hours on a good day.

I love poplar forest for the value. Recently, though, I’ve noticed that they’ve started booking way more golfers than the course can handle in a single day. As a result, pace of play is affected and there is a fair amount of waiting.

Overall mid golf course. Great value and nice people but it is very crowded and for 8$ extra I’d much rather play at Ivey hills since it’s much quieter, more challenging and prettier. Greens here were a bit weird and the cart paths feel like a war zone lol

Pace of play is way too slow. Groups of 5-6 people, with 2 open holes ahead of them and groups of 2 behind them

Really liking the changes/upgrades that have been made to the course. They’re little, in some areas, but have a big impact.
