Understand what you're getting into. City course, greens aren't the greatest, and it's a bit narrow. If you're playing a casual game, and are there more to socialize and have fun, it's not half bad.

Course still in super rough condition. They made progress late last year. Looks like all has been lost on that effort. Not many folks playing, but those who are play terribly slow.

Greens lumpy and plink-O like

Course is typically in terrible shape and almost not playable. The city of Hampton lets it go to complete crap and then will allocate $20k-$30k for one year to get it into great shape. When it’s in good condition it’s a great value but that only comes once every 5 years.

Fairways alright, greens are basically just dirt

Course is in insanely bad shape they aren’t greens they are more like brown asphalt

Greens are non existent dirt and weeds

Terrible greens. Lots of crab grass and bare spots. Not worth the time

Greens are terrible, green on 15 is half mud, half dead grass. Need to water more

Fairways are meh, greens are crime scenes, and the tee boxes might be old parking lots. Putting here feels like playing mini-golf on a gravel driveway. Teeing up? Bring a jackhammer. It’s cheap, sure—but so is instant ramen, and that has more consistency. Great if you’re into chaos golf or just need a place to scream into the wind. Bring friends, low expectations, and a sense of humor. You’ll need all three.
