Walter Hall is a great municipal course. A rather repetitive front 9 opens up into a brilliant back 9 with a great variety of different holes.
The course greens are a grainy bent grass that handle moisture well but can always look worn from footsteps and ball marks. That being said they run a nice speed but aren’t always the most true.
This course is a great place to practice your driver as its length is its main defense, while sparse tree lines can forgive you more than your standard parkland.
