Black mesa is the most gorgeous and stunning course in NM. Plenty of holes cut into canyons and against mesas that make for awesome scenery. A wide variety of holes including some blind tee shots and drivable holes. Some wider fairways and some narrow. A handful of tough tiered greens and complexes that challenge the short game. Course is in great shape right now, just a few patchy areas here and there but very good shape.

Course is in bad shape. Fairways are dry and brown.

Absolute gem.

Way too slow… quit after 5 hours and 15 holes! Go play Paako Ridge… sooo much better!

One of my favorite courses. Well worth the time and effort to get there.
