This course is just plain fun. We played the front 9, as we didn’t have enough time for 18, and the layouts are challenging but quite gettable. The hazards are punitive, but the course isn’t a canyon of forest like so many other places in the east, so an errant shot or two wouldn’t destroy your round.
I struggled on the greens, as the pin placement was quite challenging, and while they weren’t in the best shape (some spots with exposed sand and dimpling) they were hard/fast enough to develop some kind of consistency.
If you’re looking for a fun, cost effective round, this is a great place to find it.
