It’s night and day from Bluffs but still very much worth the time. Greens are similarly as difficult to Bluffs, and fairway bunkers are diabolically placed but it’s not obscenely tight and in absence of water without a crazy hook or slice you’d be hard pressed to lose many (if any) balls here.

Absolutely stunning course. The price is certainly steep but it’s guaranteed to be an experience you’ll remember. Greens are crazy firm, fast and undulating. It’s actually rather difficult to lose a ball here unless you have an absolutely stupendous slice or hook. If you’re only playing 9 for some reason, do yourself a favor and play the back and try to play around sunset to hear the bagpipes and just take in the majesty of this course.
