Any time I come up to Charlevoix, I have to play this course. I last played it was several years ago and the conditions were absolutely on par with a country club. I now see that much of the area between holes has been left to form a natural heather-brilliant natural hazard while saving the grounds crew work. I've yet to play it this year, but I know I'll feel right back home when I do. Without a doubt my favorite muni course, and home to my favorite hole, the par 5 6th with a green wedged between 3 roads and a building. A confidence building course with still plenty of chances to get in trouble-I hope to keep coming back for years
