Here is where Twin Lakes (Estates-Links) fits in my whirlwind weekly tour of the nice public courses of Oakland county / SE Michigan. 7:00 tee off allowed us to fly around the Estates 9 in no time. Then we ran into the final pairings of the Links 9 after the turn. Boy did it get real slow from there. Good value ($30 for weekday in-season morning). Condition was great, those two nines are pretty wide open and not a tremendous challenge. Too few holes to grip it and rip with a driver for big hitters, even from the back tees. An enjoyable round, but sister course Westwynd was faster and better, albeit for more money at the same time.
