Course is beautiful but greens are impossible and make it no fun

Early season round.

Participated in an outing here. The only complaint was the greens. Most looked like ball marks that hadn’t been repaired for 2-3 days leaving the greens cratered with marks making most moderate putts considerably more challenging. The green pace was a bit absurd too. One hole had a pin where if you missed it by even 5 inches, it rolled 50 feet back off the front of the green. That’s ridiculous. Otherwise the course was in solid shape. A few drivable Par 4’s for a short course (6,009 tips).

Pretty decent for a municipal public course. Fairways had a ton of divots as of June 2023. Pretty difficult. Had some pretty straight drives and if you don’t hit fairway you lost your call. Granted it was after a soaker rain fall so some balls most likely went into the grass literally. Pace of play was quick. Felt rushed at times. Tee times got pretty booked after about 730am. Ours was 7am and we had people behind us right away.
