This was my first visit there since 2023. The course is under a new ownership and there has been a complete turnaround in the conditions of the course and the main building itself, all for the positive. I highly recommend playing at the black bear.

Just recently played this course. This course definitely has a lot of potential and it sounds like new ownership is putting a lot into it. The views and course layout out is really cool. Some untamed rough but greens were well taken care of. Fairways could’ve been cut down a touch more. After playing with a group that played it last year the improvement has been significant and could be a year or 2 a way from being 4.5 to 5 star course. Potential is there. Very hospitable crew too

Really enjoyed playing this course lots of blind t shots. Greens were a tad slow. Overall, it was in very good condition. Very playable really liked it will come back again.

Beautiful course. Worth the price. Some difficult holes for beginners so practice before trying this course.

The course was in good shape. Pace of play was terrible! 5 hours and 20 mins for 18.

1000 times better than the last time I played (2020/2021). Greens were well maintained and faster than anticipated. Distance was challenging at times from the blacks. I will be back.
