What a relaxed and lovely course. Wha surprised to see the beverage cart consistently making rounds too. The greens were a little rough, would be my only complaint. Shouldn’t expect too much coming to a par three course though. Already have my next teatime booked.
This is our go to course as new golfers, it’s the only 18 hole 3 par course we’ve been able to find in PDX, most 3 pars are only 9 holes. We played the front nine for a few months as we stated to learn our clubs and it’s a really fun set of holes, no drivers needed. One water trap so use cheap balls you don’t care about on that one!
When we got a little more experience under our belts we starts playing 18 holes, and the back nine has some good challenges that require a driver for ladies, and one good water trap. Wide fairways so if you’re working on a slice you need not be intimidated!
Very flat greens overall, but this course is near the river so it tends to be a bit mushy in springtime. Staff is super friendly and encouraging for new golfers.
Last thing, if you come in spring this place is covered with flowers, it was just so beautiful to play here all springtime, even in the rain!
