Overall really nice course. Great maintenance crew. The greens were pristine at the beginning of the season but are slowly dying because people don’t fix their divots. One major downside is the pace of play is really bad at times. If you go at like 6 am you can get through a round in like 80 minutes. However, if it’s busy, there’s always some group that causes you to play 9 in well over 2 hours. Course is really good for walkers who want to get their exercise and don’t get cart cus they lazy.
My favorite course in Madison. A good variety on the hole design - didn’t automatically grab driver every hole. Greens are quick and can be tricky depending on the hole location. Beers are cheap 🙂
Great course, they know what they are doing. Front 9 is remodeled and plays great. New driving range is great. Staff is good, no issues there. Always enjoy playing this course.
Paid $40 a person for 9 holes with a cart before twilight discount. Phenomenal course in great condition with very friendly staff. Tee’d off at 4:42 PM on a Saturday and the course was surprisingly open. 18th hole is a crazy over the water par 4, very fun way to end a match! Will definitely be coming back here whenever I’m in the area did not disappoint.
Overall, a nice course! Pretty long, so be prepared to hit your driver a lot. The greens were faster, but it was still early in the summer when we played, so that could be a lot of it. A lot of construction/rebuilding the course when we went too, so beware of rope and make sure to read the signs!
