Chipping/putting green available, no driving range. Greens and fairways were in great shape. Tee boxes need a lot of help, rough was long but could be by design. Tee times are 10min apart. Course layout can be a little dangerous, have to be aware of other golfers frequently.
Carts have no gps, no free tees, no seed/sand to repair divots, and no cooler or complimentary water. I know none are standard by any means but it’s a trend for courses to pinch everything lately and alpine is no exception.
First time playing here. Will definately play again. Shoot 97. Could easily remove 5-7 shots from score. The greens are perfection in their smoothness and speed but the unevenness make putting a challenge. The views are very picturesque and can only imagine that fall play is she beauty. The elevation changes make the par 3s the true challenge here.
Played here for the last decade. Golfed in Oct ‘24 and, aside from the tee boxes on 5 and 11, the course is in the best condition I’ve seen it. Pace of play can certainly be improved as it seems the rangers are slow to react to pace of play. Definitely worth the cost of play if pace is good.
This is must try and my new favorite course! Only 35-40 minutes from Milwaukee it’s a great bang for your buck. The elevation change throughout the 18 holes is one of my favorite parts. Grounds crew does a great job. For being fall the grass looked great and it looked like they were starting to add/fix tee box turf. Only negative were no 150 yd markers and few ball washing stations.
Holy elevation changes!!!! Had an absolute blast, very humbling course.
Very nice course, they do have some construction on the course right now. (06/19/24) The cicadas are horrendous (not their fault) Pace of play was the only problem I saw people right on top of eachother all day.
