Brown Deer is a really nice course with great fairways and some challenging holes (as well as some pretty "gettable" ones). The problem is not Brown Deer or the maintenance staff, it's the golfers that constantly don't fix divots in the fairway and, more importantly, never fix ball marks on the green. I had to fix someone else's ball mark that was in my line almost every other hole. I tried to fix several that were in my vicinity but there were tons of extras all over. Again, great course but the effort needs to come from the players more than the staff.
