handicap 10.1
My rating of 3āļø is based solely on the fact that the greens were recently aerated and a thunderstorm blew through here over the weekend, which made the course condition a little rough. Other than that, the course is really neat and the staff and other players were all super friendly.
Old school, tree-lined layout is challenging and forces you to make shots ā a welcomed occurrence, considering I play a lot of "newer" courses theatre wide open and a guy can just smash driver off every tee. This course was a refreshing counter to those. Also, this course has to be an excellent course to play in October, due to all of the awesome matured trees.
Highly recommend playing if you are in Manhattan. Will definitely be back and update this review after the course is heeled up.
