First trip to Hawaii and wanted to play golf with my wife and brother in law and we chose West Loch based on location and price. The course offers some scenic views of the mountains and has a few water features as well. The fairways were wide open, offering plenty of forgiveness for a higher handicap group like ours, but did have some patchy areas that affected a few of our lies. The greens and teeboxes were in good shape. Overall, this course provided great value and a rather forgiving round.
Everything is good about this course, but the Marshall will be on when you are the last tee time no matter what. He hounded my group until the last hole and we finished a half hour before they closed.
