Great course, was in decent shape. Had great views of the mountain and Hole 13 with the ocean view behind the green was nice. This would be a great public course back in the 48 but for Hawaii it was good for the price and nice golf. Book through HawaiiTeeTimes good deal.
This being my home club I’m a little biased, but HKGC has everything you could possibly need. Driving range / putting and chipping green / bunker practice & a par 3 & champion course.
The champion course plays well with challenging tee shots, complicated firm greens and rough approach shots. To mid-low handicappers it’s perfect to perfect different parts of your game and for high handicaps it’s a challenging course that plays easy enough because of total distance play.
Greens are rough tho.
