Playing in the clouds today

Perfect course to cap off a great trip to Hawaii. Tons of greenery around, well kept course and plenty of nature. Lots of elevation change throughout the course, but that adds to the challenge. Wish I could play this every morning.

This course is on the side of Volcano in a beautiful forest. The fairways were beautiful and narrow, with OB on both sides. One fairway on the front had damage from wild pigs. The pigs causally cross the course at times. The greens on the back had noticeable weeds that may affect some putts. Staff was awesome, I rented their Srixon clubs and was really impressed with them. All in all, this course is worth the experience and views. It's also one of the cheaper green fees on the Big Island.

I decided to switch things up and head up to the mountains instead of the usual links play. The scenery was lush and full of wildlife. I was high enough up that I needed to throw on a vest to keep warm against the crisp morning air.

Great course

Lovely course, but could use some grooming. The wild life makes up for the long grass and so so greens. Very enjoyable overall.
