Heart of America is a lovely 9 hole course made to help golfers of all skills levels hone their skills. Good conditions, good price, and a great variety of shots throughout the course. There is a great par 3 course (the rock course) located at this facility as well that makes for a fun “back 9” challenge if this 9 doesn’t fully satisfy you!

Favorite local course for the value. Great practice course between two 9 hole courses. One is a very walkable 3 par perfect for approach practice. The other 9 hole is a fun mix of 3-5 pars with forgiving fairways.

Great course for beginners which is why the pace of play is usually on the slower side, so if you’re learning golf don’t sweat it; people should come in expecting some waiting. 3 easily drivable par 4’s which is fun. 7 is the hardest hole for sure. They sanded the greens a few days ago as of 9/29/24, but it’s fall that’s to be expected. Only a couple of spots where there is some damage to the fairway. Greens are typically in great shape.
