Situated about 35 miles from Vienna, Föhrenwald is a very nice surprise. Great practice range, ample practice putting green, very well kept fairways and greens, but with knee-high wild grasses very close to the primary rough. Requires precission on most shots. Beautiful natural surroundings, clear creeks streaming the course. The sand was packed, due to raining. A bit expensive, not outrageously expensive, but the people running the place will well compensate for that by their nice attitude.
